Estate Planning, Wills and Probate Law

Estate planning is the process of determining where and to whom an individual’s assets go after they pass away.  Wills, trusts, family limited partnerships, medical directives, and powers of attorney are some of the estate planning tools available to our clients.  In addition, we take particular interest in planning for families with special needs children and the individualized challenges associated with appropriate planning for these special families.  Probate is the process the courts use to establish that a will is valid and to approve final distribution of an estate’s assets.  We can assist clients in all matters relating to the probating of a will and administration of the estate.
